E-commerce complements shopping centres. It doesn’t replace them.
Tomasz Górski, Regional Asset Manager at NEPI Rockcastle, shared how retail evolves into a fully integrated, experience-led model in his latest interview with PropertyNews.pl, focusing on the growing connection between physical spaces, digital channels and rising customer expectations.
“Modern, well-located centres bring people together for meetings, leisure and entertainment. E-commerce doesn’t compete with them — it strengthens and extends their role. With years of experience building strong tenant and customer relationships, and a clear understanding of evolving consumer needs, we integrate physical spaces with digital journeys in our centres,” he explained.
Tomasz will continue this conversation as a speaker at the 18th European Economic Congress (Europejski Kongres Gospodarczy)in Katowice (April 22–24), during the session “Commercial Real Estate – Market Transformation”, where industry leaders will address how the sector is adapting to digitalisation and structural change.
We translate these shifts into action by prioritising upgrades and extensions to drive long-term performance. NEPI Rockcastle continuously enhances and repositions its assets to better integrate physical and digital retail, strengthen competitiveness and reinforce each centre’s role as a social and commercial hub.
